The 4D Compact Multi Tip line is the best and most economical way to get your rig correct from the start when fishing with Multi Tip Shooting Heads connected to a Shooting Line. This set-up consists of a floating 4D Compact Body and a mesh wallet with a set of three interchangeable tips of various sink rates (H/I, S1/S3 and S3/S5) for efficient targeting of fish at different depths. It is a complete range of lines that covers all kinds of fishing from single handed to Switch and all the way up to fishing with double handed rods, except the heaviest line weights and the longest rods. The 4D Compact line is super easy to manage and cast due to its short length. It has a powerful taper and works equally well with both Scandi- and Skagit style casts.
The length of the bodies is between 5,0 and 5,4 meters, varying slightly with line weight, this makes them perfect for use with rods 14’ and shorter. Just match the body with one of the tips with the color codes facing each other, then add a leader/tippet that has the correct length and breaking strength. These lines will handle both small and large flies very well, cast far and are very accurate. 4D Compact Multi Tip lines and tips are built on strong 30 lbs Direct Contact™ cores, have the industry’s strongest factory-made loops in both ends and are color coded for line size. In addition, there is a line-ID printing in the back end of the line. These lines are PVC-Free and made of Polyurethane. Our boxes are made from recycled paper with eco-friendly coating and we have removed plastic spools from this packaging. The result is that we can offer you the “cleanest” and most eco-friendly fly line on the market.
