With all the fly lines on the market today, it’s often a case of where do I start when it comes decide the correct taper, coatings, cores, etc for your floating line. Fly line #4 floating airflo

I’m not a hugely proficient or experienced fly angler. But I can cast a line thirty feet easily. This line for £35 odd quid is good. I use it for fly fishing for smaller carp on a four piece rod. So I’m not looking for an ultra high end fly line, that’s I will pay. But not for this small lake/pond fishing, where I end up treading on it on the platforms which have wire griding on them. It tends to smash the line up a bit if your not careful where you tread! But, I don’t think for this money you can go wrong to be honest.

New fly line

I like the two colour system on this line. It casts well and does not appear to have any memory, so far. I normally use Courtland lines and have not used Airflo for about 20 years, when the line I had suffered from memory problems. Reviews on this line line are good, which prompted me to give it a try.
