Measuring Guide

How to measure yourself correctly:

  • Chest: Measure the widest part of your chest.
  • Waist: Measure the smallest part of your waist, usually just above your belly button.
  • Hips: Stand in a natural stance, measure the fullest part of the hips.
  • Inseam: Lay a pair of your trousers flat, using a fabric measuring tape, measure from the bottom of the crotch to the end of the trouser leg.

Guideline cdc oil

The oil is thinner and is a better choice if you prepare the flies at the tying desk, or for small flies where the gel has a tendency to cover the fibers. The gel is a bit thicker and is our first hand choice for on-the-water treatment of all types of dry flies and emergers.
