Kola Killer is a modified Wooly Bugger, designed by Toril Kolbu of Norway. Original the fly's name is Toril Killer, however due to being so effective on the tundra after big trout is has become natural to call it Kola Killer. This fly can be fished in a variety of ways, even if it's a streamer ment to be fished sub surface it can be very good fished as a dry fly, well-greased up with floatant. The big trout’s of Kola like this fly dead drifted or fished across the river. Black flies like these are also very good for night fishing and are normally fished with an active- and fast retreive. Great fly for evening fishing for coastal trout too!
