The US, Ulf Sill series are tied on short brass tubes in lengths of 6, 10, 13 or 16mm. We recommend fishing them with a “free-swinging” treble hook, but of course you can put silicone tubing over the tube too. The wing is normally built in five different segments to give them the original shape that these flies are known for.
The series consist of flies which will cover all water- and weather conditions found in Salmon fishing in Scandinavia. For high water conditions and early season there are flies as: Flood Alert, Red Sandy and the signature Beiss fly. Silver Grey and the highlanders are great summer/low water flies. Black & Orange and KHK 13 are super evening and night fishing silhouette flies.
