A premium reel requires a world-class brake, plenty of line capacity, a light but solid construction and last but definitely not least a unique design to separate it clearly from all the other reels on the market.Those were our main targets with XO fly reels. Light, large-arbour reels with a well tested brake design and cool outlook is our new premium product to complement our premium XO trout fly rods. #3-4 class reel is implemented with a adjustable click brake for increased lightness, whereas #5-6 and #7-8 class reels have a proper disc brake. All moving parts are greased with SKF's water resistant bearing grease.
Larger 9/10 & 10/12 size reels have a more powerful, higher performance drag system, being fully sealed with waterproofing utilising axle seals from German Ina and bearings from Japan make them ideal for salt destinations.
